Introduction

WIP is currently involved with four projects:

Equality & Diversity

Ensuring fair and equal access to all local government staff, Members and residents in Wiltshire, regardless of age, race, disability, religion or sex.

Governance

Improving partnership working between local government, the voluntary sector and public organisations in Wiltshire through restructuring of roles in accordance with the Local Area Agreement and the White Paper.

Member Development

Working with Councillors from the five local authorities to improve roles in community representation and leadership and highlight transferable skills necessary for stronger community cohesion.

Member Development - Community Engagement

Seeking to better understand how to support councillors at all tiers to work effectively locally.
