Following the distribution of the consultant brief in August, four bids were received by the 3 September deadline from the following organisations:
Short listing involved comparison of each proposal against the requirements in the original brief and assessment of the approach taken by each consultancy.These documents can be viewed below.
All four consultancies were invited for interview on 13 September with a panel of five representatives of Wiltshire partnerships and public sector organisations. They were:
Each interviewed team was allocated around 45 minutes to first give a short presentation, followed by a series of generic and specific questions asked by the panel. The answers were then scored, a table of which can be viewed here.
The organisation selected for the contract was The Tavistock Institute. More information can be viewed below.
A report to WiSBEx on 20 September has also been produced with more information on the processess adopted in the selection of the Tavistock Institute.

During the four-month project, over sixty individuals involved in partnership working in Wiltshire were consulted on what was required and what the vision was for the future.
Following the initial interviews, group consultations were held to discuss the proposals in more detail
