Work & progress

The project has now reached a crucial stage, where the proposals have been agreed by WiSB and certain aspects of the arrangements are due to be discussed by WiSBEx. Tavistock have published their interim report, which outlines the findings and work to date.

The programme below outlines the current thinking for each of the partnership groups, as well as the new arrangements. In addition, click here for a link to the partnership structures diagram.

WiSBEx/WiSB

Following the offical sign-off of the proposals by WiSB on 17 March, the Board agreed that only one further meeting was necessary to tie up loose ends.

WiSBEx will also have only one further meeting, in which the specific arrangements for Members, District LSPs and accountability will be discussed.

The disbandment of these two groups will make way for the first meetings of the Wiltshire Strategy Group and Accountable Bodies Group in the summer. The Membership of these groups is currently being finalised.

Thematic Delivery Partnerships

In line with the formation of the new LAA and LAW, the list of thematic delivery partnerships is being compiled. The arrangements for these groups will be discussed alongside those for the Community Area Partnerships with WFCAP.

District Councils/District LSPs

The interim arrangements for districts are due to be discussed by WiSBEx on 9 May. The proposals are that the councils sit on the Accountable Bodies Group, as key budget holders, and the LSPs on the Assembly.
