Background

The Improvement and Development Agency (I&DeA) (external site - opens in new window) were engaged to develop a proposal to work within Wiltshire to provide both interactive workshops and distance learning workbooks for members, to enhance community leadership and scrutiny skills.

The workshops and workbooks have been designed so that the materials and information are passed to the WIP authorities once the first set of workshops is complete, enabling the partnership to continue this work without the need for further support from the I&DeA.

A member survey was run at the start of the project to establish a baseline of perceived skills and views on the effectiveness of previous member training and development. Click to see the survey results.
